Jemez Historic Site offers an engaging day during Funday at Gisewa with a variety of activities and demonstrations, including a corn roast in the adobe horno 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22.
Visitors can explore the ways of Pueblo life through cooking, art demonstrations, dances and much more at Jemez Historic Site.
Staff will offer a demonstration on how to roast corn in the adobe horno or oven. The event will also feature local artists, Pueblo food and hands-on activities. Admission is $7 for adults and free to children 16 and younger.
Funday at Gisewa is a great way for people of all ages to learn the history of the Jemez Pueblo and people through hands-on activities and cultural exchange.
