ENTERTAINMENT News:

The Blue Window Bistro, at the restaurant’s new location in the heart of downtown Los Alamos, will host an evening of jazz with the Craig Martin Experience at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21.

“We’re pleased to have CME as the first musical performance at our new location,” owner Melissa Paternoster said. “The band was first music we hosted at our former location, too.”

CME will offer a set of traditional jazz favorites along with a mix of inventive original tunes composed by band members.

“We’re excited to perform in the new space—it looks perfect for combining music and dinner,” band leader Craig Martin said.

The space is designed for flexible set ups, and the restaurant staff will rearrange tables and dividers to provide an ideal venue for the evening.

Together since 2010, CME is a seven-piece jazz ensemble of local musicians featuring Craig Martin on tenor saxophone, Quinn Marksteiner on alto sax, Carl Hagelberg on trumpet, Mike Rogers on guitar, Aaron Anderson on keyboard, Rob Heineman on bass, and John Frary on drums.

Saturday night will feature the regular dinner menu plus specials. Reservations are recommended. For more information call the Blue Window Bistro at 505.662.6305.
