Jaret McDonald Files For Sheriff’s Race

Jaret McDonald, left, filed his candidacy for Los Alamos County Sheriff a few moments ago and was joined by from left, his wife Jennifer, treasurer/campaign manager Camille Montoya and supporters Mark Voss and Karl Thomas. McDonald is a Republican running against Democrat incumbent Marco Lucero. ‘I am extremely proud and grateful to have this opportunity to run for sheriff.’ he said. ‘I look forward to serving the residents of Los Alamos and White Rock well. I have been amazed at the show of support by residents for my candidacy. It seems the phone is ringing off the hook and people are coming by our house to show support.  I am truly blessed with the campaign team that I have. We have a lot of energy, common values and diversity. My treasurer, Camille Montoya has really got the team lined out and has also taken the role as campaign manager, for which we are delighted. I look forward to an ethical, challenging and exciting race.’ Photo by Carol A. Clark/ladailypost.com
