Libertarian James Wernicke Files For County Council

Libertarian James Wernicke filed to run for Los Alamos County Council this afternoon in Council Chambers. ‘I really like this community,’ he said. ‘The community came together to help my family when we needed it.’ Wernicke is employed at Los Alamos National Laboratory and has lived in Los Alamos for eight years. ‘I especially want to help small businesses,’ Wernicke said. ‘Housing is another issue I want to help with as well as the issue of empty business sites.’ Photo by Bonnie J.
