Author James Vollbracht of “Stopping at Every Lemonade Stand, How to Create A Culture that Cares for Kids,” was hospitalized this morning according to a statement from the Assets In Action program.“I received a message from his son, Nicholas,” Assets Coordinator Bernadette Lauritzen said. “His son said that he apparently has an acute appendicitis and will be out of commission for several days. He also sends his apologies.”
Lauritzen said the author’s Skype presentation at for 6:30 p.m., today at Chamisa Elementary School will be rescheduled, but staff will be on hand for those who don’t get the notification in a timely manner.
