The Friends of Los Alamos Pride (FLAP) announces the following upcoming events for June 7-11. Come join us and show your support for our LGBTQ+ loved ones and neighbors at these fun and diverse activities in Los Alamos:

  • Prism Pride Social at the Bathtub Row Brewing Company at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, at 163 Central Park Square. Come socialize with the Lab’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group for this no host gathering. Cristina Olds, co-chair of Prism, says this event is an opportunity to learn about what Prism is doing for the LGBTQ+ employees and allies at LANL, and to pick up LA Pride swag.
  • Happy Pride Week Kick-Off BBQ 2-6 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at the Coop. Our community-owned grocery store kicks off Pride week festivities with a scavenger hunt, crafting with Little Studio on the Mesa, local vendors, and kids’ activities. Shop a rainbow of local and organic foods and enjoy a delicious deal of a Boar’s Head hot dog, bag of chips and a drink for $6.
  • Pride Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 11, at the Universalist Unitarian Church of Los Alamos, 1738 N. Sage St.
  • Intergenerational Game Night 5-9 p.m. Sunday, June 11, at the Los Alamos Teen Center, 475 20th St., Suite C. The Teen Center will host an intergenerational game night that is open to all ages. Expect board games, card games like Magic the Gathering, big screen video gaming, snacks and more. Previous events have included participants from elementary school age to folks in their 50s. Youth under 12 should be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
