Invitation to the Community: You are Not Alone ─ We Can Heal Together

JJAB News:

Juvenile Justice Advisory Board Youth Resource Advocate Troy Palmer and Nalini Palmer invite community members to join them in having a safe space to talk and listen to each other about how everyone is coping with the sad tragedy in our community, as well as other daily challenges and stressors that do not disappear while we try to cope.

Troy and Nalini write, “Let’s be honest about our struggles without fear of judgment. Let’s put our heads together about how to help each other. We can heal through supporting each other, knowing none of us are alone, and knowing each of us need to be cared for. No pressure to talk, please come even if you just feel like being around others and or just feel like listening!”

Troy and Nalini will be facilitating two support groups, one for teens and one for adults. They welcome support from others who would like to help facilitate.

The following information is for this week and next week, however both support groups will meet weekly following next week with the best time and date still to be determined based on what works best for most.
