COMMUNITY News:

A Los Alamos High School senior parked her car at the White Rock Y between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16 while she went to Albuquerque to coach her team in a gymnastics meet.

“There is no way the person who hit her car doesn’t have some damage or didn’t know they hit her car,” the girl’s mother told the Los Alamos Daily Post.. “We have filed a police report … I would like the person who hit my daughter’s car to be held responsible.”

The girl’s mother explained that she is on disability and a single mom with very little income.

“I can offer a very small reward of only $100 if someone does indeed find the person who hit my daughter’s car,” she said.

Anyone with information about this case should contact the Los Alamos Police Department at 505.662.8222.
