Inaugural Free Summer Lunch Program Begins

Chef Pena and Sous Chef Sous Chef Scott prepare the inaugural FREE Summer Lunch program offering for Los Alamos. Monday, Chartwells team members at Chartwells, the food service provider for Los Alamos Public Schools served more than 140 lunches for youth in the community. The FREE food program is open to all youth in or visiting the community. Local day care or youth programs can contact Chef Holsapple to reserve larger orders for youth groups. Food is distributed noon to 1:15 p.m., Monday through Friday at Aspen Elementary School. Youth will receive a free, sack lunch and additional snacks for the afternoon.
