‘I Hear Fine … You’re Just Mumbling – March 21

HLAA News:

SANTA FE – Is hearing loss hurting communication with your family or friends? The Santa Fe Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America will show a DVD by Sam Trychin, Ph.D., a nationally-known psychologist who has helped hundreds of people with hearing loss cope better. 

The DVD illustrates both good and bad communication scenarios, with time for audience discussion interspersed. Spouses, partners and family members are encouraged to attend.

The meeting is free and open to all. No reservations are required. It will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21 at the Vitamin Cottage Event Center, Natural Grocers, Cerrillos Road and Richards Avenue. Santa Fe. The event is free and open to the public.

The DVD is captioned and sign language interpreters and a hearing loop that allows attendees to use the telecoil switch on hearing aids and hear without interference will be available.
