Hundreds of eager young hunters rushed to claim candy-filled plastic eggs at this morning’s Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Los Alamos Elks Lodge at Ashley Pond.

All eggs were claimed within just a few minutes of the 10 a.m. whistle start. The Easter Bunny was on hand to pass out more eggs after the hunt.

The Elk’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt is one of three taking place this weekend. An in-pool Egg Hunt will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Aquatic Center and a final Eggstravaganza event will run 1-3:30 p.m., Sunday at the Los Alamos Golf Course, with the actual hunt taking place at 2 p.m. Sunday.
