SFCHA News:
The Santa Fe Civic Housing Authority (SFCHA) has opened its waiting list for Section 8 housing assistance and is taking applications through Wednesday at the Los Alamos County Municipal Building, 1000 Central Ave., in Suite 110 (1st floor in the Boards and Commissions Room).
They will be taking applications 9:30 a.m. to noon (break for lunch) and resume 1 -3:30 p.m. each day.
Applications also may be submitted to the Santa Fe Civic Housing Authority at 136 Calle De Pajarito in Espanola or faxed to 505.753.5364. In all cases, a picture ID is required and all applications will be reviewed for eligibility before being placed on the waiting list.
The waiting list will remain open until an adequate 24 month pool of applicants, approximately 200, is received. Placement on the waiting list will be determined by date and time and residency preference. Individuals with disabilities may contact the office for reasonable accommodations.
Santa Fe Civic Housing Authority is the Administrator for Los Alamos County Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program.
