LAHS News:

History Adventures is an 8-week kids program of hands-on activities about local history sponsored by the Los Alamos Historical Society.

Starting June 2 and going through July 21, activities are repeated at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. every Tuesday morning on the lawn of Fuller Lodge. Activities are aimed at children in grades K–3, but are open to everyone! History Adventures is free and no registration is required.

History Adventures features presentations from the Los Alamos Historical Society and from partners from around the state. This summer kids can enjoy activities from Fuller Lodge Art Center, Tierra Sagrada Pottery, Jemez Historic Site, New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum, and the aparejo burro packers, as well as tours of the historic district and a visit to the Romero Cabin.

More information about History Adventures can be found at losalamoshistory.org and on the Historical Society’s facebook page.
