The Los Alamos High School Hilltoppers invite the community to come show their support for Homecoming 2015.
The homecoming parade kicks off at 2:30 p.m., Friday down Central Avenue. Prizes of $100, $50 and $25 are on the line for parade entries, who will be judged in the following areas; theme representation: 25 points, originality 25 points, school spirit: 25 points and audience appeal: 25 points.
There are approximately 40 entries planned for the parade. The homecoming court nominees for the ladies are; Rebecca Cai, Allison Cunningham, Sierra Foley, Deanna Gutierrez, Emily Hopkins, Rachel Reynolds and for the gentleman; Isaac Dunwoody, Hunter Eaton, Lane Saunders, Maxwell Herrmann, Jarrett Genero and Devon McCleskey.
The Science Olympiad will be selling glow bracelets for $1 at the bonfire, at 7 p.m., today and Friday at the parade and football game. DECA will host a tailgate party at Sullivan Field before the game with music and more.
The Toppers take on the Moriarty Pintos with a “Punt the Pintos,” theme. The game starts at 7 p.m. with a presentation for halftime with the Topper Band and Color Guard and the crowning of the 2015 Homecoming King and Queen.
