The Los Alamos High School (LAHS) Hilltopper Varsity Girls Soccer Team hosted the Taos Tigers on Wednesday at Sullivan Field for their first district game of the season.

The Toppers dominated the game maintaining possession throughout and taking 19 shots while Taos did not record a single shot on goal.

Yet the game came down to the wire when Sophomore Gracie Haagenstad scored the Toppers first goal with only 2 minutes left in the game assisted by Senior Tirryn Sutherland.

Sophomore Kylee Lovato sealed the 2-0 deal with an unassisted goal seconds before the final whistle.
