Hilltopper Varsity Baseball Team Continues Winning Streak!

The Los Alamos High School Topper Varsity Boys Baseball Team hosted the Albuquerque Academy Chargers Tuesday afternoon at Bomber Field.

The Toppers entered the game undefeated and came out hungry for another win, taking an early 8-0 lead after 3 innings.

Academy responded with 4 runs in the 4th inning but the Toppers strong defense and relentless offense continued. The game ended with a ten run rule and a final score of 18-8. 

Calvin Wimer was a run-scoring machine, with a grand slam in the 3rd and several RBIs in the 5th.

Taylor Drake was the starting pitcher and went four innings, allowing 4 hits and striking out 3 batters.

The Toppers will host St. Pius 11 a.m., Saturday for a double header.
