Hilltalkers Host ‘Talker Revue: An Evening of Entertainment’ 7 p.m. Friday

The LAHS Hilltalkers invite the community to enjoy an evening of entertainment hosted by the team’s talented members. “Talker Revue” features drama, dance and music performances and offers the community the opportunity to see local teens shine.

A silent auction of delicious desserts will take place throughout the evening. The event is 7 p.m. Friday, March 21 in the Topper Theater, on the north end of the high school, lower floor near the cafeteria. Tickets can be purchased from team members or at the door – $8 for adults and $5 for children under 10.

This event also marks the kick-off of the teams’ Tupperware fundraiser. Catalogues will be available for ordering reusable, BPA-free food storage items. The Hilltalkers receive a percentage of the sales from this eco-friendly fundraiser.

Hilltalker community events raise vital funds for sending students to compete around the state and beyond. Having just returned from a successful State tournament, team members are busily preparing for Districts and Nationals. Both the LAHS Hilltalkers and the LAMS Hawktalkers have experienced exciting growth in numbers and participation in the past couple of years.

Community support helps ensure that all students are able to travel to competitions near and far. For more information about the event or to donate to the team, contact Coach Margo Batha at m.batha@laschools.net.
