ACRR News:
Catherine Hensley was the best predictor in the Atomic City Road Runners weekly pace race held Sept. 17 on the Perimeter Trail near the Guaje Pines Cemetery. She had 33 second differential from her predicted time as well as the first place finisher on the 1 mile course at 17:19.
Other accurate finishers were:
- Tony Borek recording a 40 second difference;
- Valerio Pinchetti at 54 seconds off;
- Eric Anderson with a 57 second differential and top finisher in the 3 mile at 23:27; and
- Aurea Rojas at 92 seconds off.
On the 1 mile course:
- Jan Velechovsky with 3-year-old daughter Robin Bujack was the best male finisher at 22:05.
On the 2 mile course:
- Felix Candia was the first finisher recording a 22:35.
On the 3 mile course:
- Madeline Harms was the top female finisher at 33:59.
The next weekly race is 6 p.m. today on the lower Water Canyon Trail, which is approximately 2.8 miles from the Pajarito Road and N.M. 4 junction in White Rock, taking a right after coming down Pajarito Road to the Pajarito Road/N.M. 4 junction and heading West on N.M. 4 toward Bandelier National Monument on the left side of the road.
1, 2 and 3 mile trail runs will be available.
