From the very beginning, the Los Alamos Beer Co-op was designed to be a place-holder name. The organizers knew that as they approached the opening of New Mexico’s first cooperative brewery, they would have to undertake a new naming campaign to establish a vibrant, iconic brand for the new brewery.
The co-op will always be the LABC, but the brewery and taproom deserves a name and a brand that better represents the town and the unique organization. However, that original name is included as one of the choices as some of the LABC members prefer this option.
LABC is calling on the community to help narrow the options for brewery names by ranking the following options:
- Los Alamos Beer Co-op
- Los Alamos Brewing Co-op (Acronym LAB)
- Los Alamos Cooperative Brewing
- Bathtub Row Brewing
- Seven Canyons Brewing
- Los Alamos Canyon Brewing Co-op (Also LABC)
- Secret City Brewing Co-op
- Jemez Mountain Brewing Co-op
There also is a place to suggest a different name.
