Help Clean Up Los Alamos Saturday April 29!

Despite steady rain during the 2022 Clean Up Los Alamos Day, Rotarians participated by tending the Memorial Garden at LAHS, a partnership between the Rotary Club of Los Alamos and LAPS, honors students who passed away while enrolled at the high school. COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Environmental Services and the Environmental Sustainability Board invite the community to participate in the 20-Year Anniversary of Clean Up Los Alamos Day Saturday, April 29.

Volunteers are encouraged to pick a location around the community to clean and make it beautiful. Locations can range from a favorite park, walking trail or around the neighborhood trash bags and gloves will be provided for participants who register online. Participants who register may stop by Environmental Services to pick up trash bags and gloves starting Wednesday, April 26.

Individuals and groups must sign a waiver of liability, scan, and email it back to solidwaste@lacnm.us or bring the waiver to Environmental Services. Waivers will be emailed to participants upon registration.

Residents will receive free disposal at the Eco Station and Overlook Convenience Center Saturday, April 29, by showing proof of Los Alamos County residency.
