Teatro Paraguas presents The Handyman’s Guide to End Times, by Juan J. Morales, a poetry reading and book launch from his new book of poetry at 6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11, at Teatro Paraguas, 3205 Calle Marie in Santa Fe. Admission is free.
This new book is part of the Mary Burritt Christiansen Poetry Series.
In Morales’s newest collection, published by UNM Press, an imagined zombie apocalypse intertwines with personal narrative. From zombie dating to the sin of popcorn ceilings, these poems investigate the nature of impermanence while celebrating the complexities of life.
Morales also is the author of The Siren World and Friday and the Year That Followed: Poems.
