COUNTY News:

Due to the Walkup Aquatic Center being closed for an HVAC Energy Upgrade, the Aquatic Center staff have teamed with Los Alamos County Recreation Department staff and the Sheriff’s Posse to hold a Halloween Carnival, Hayride and Pumpkin Patch Oct. 25 at the Sherriff’s Posse Lodge.

There will be two sessions of the event: 4-5 p.m. and 5-6 p.m.

First, there will be a hayride through the horse corrals. There are fun pit stops along the way for treats and activities. At the end of the ride, participants can pick out their own pumpkin. At the Lodge, there will be fun carnival games and pumpkin decorating.

Tickets are limited so buy them as soon as possible at the Los Alamos County Municipal Building, 1000 Central Ave., Suite 150. Tickets are $5 for the carnival and hayride only and $7 for the carnival, hayride and a pumpkin patch.
