Halloweekend: Pet Costume Parade 5:15 P.M. Today

Katie Herrmann is the chair of the Pet Costume Parade at 5:15 p.m. today on Central Ave. Participation is free and there is no registration necessary. Owners and pets will gather at 4:45 p.m. on the north side of Ashley Pond (cement pad) to check-in and get their pet number. Only bring crowd friendly pets on a controlled leash, and be prepared to pick up after your pets. Dress them up. Awards will be handed out at the end, and prizes are sponsored by Pet Pangaea. S at Ashley Pond Park and the parade gets underway at 5:15 p.m. down Central Avenue. While there is no charge to be a part of the pet parade there is a suggested donation of $5 per pet.
