COUNTY News:
The Los Alamos County Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Council Chambers at 1000 Central Ave. The meeting is open to the public and a Zoom option is offered for remote participation (Zoom Link).
Highlights of the meeting include:
- Proclamation of August being bear month;
- Quarterly intergovernmental affairs report;
- Introduction and discussion on Guest House project by Grand Mesa Partners representative Tucker Sharp; and
- Discussion and possible action on submitting a letter to the Department of the Interior opposing the revocation or reduction of Public Land No. 7923 that protects Chaco Culture National Historical Park.
