According to American Songwriter, “If you are looking to be blown away by raw talent, then look no further than Griffin House.”
The Nashville-based, Americana musician will open the Fall concert line-up for “Live in Los Alamos” with a seated show at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7 at Fuller Lodge.
House’s songs have built him an incredibly loyal fan-base and have been featured on numerous television shows and films and earned him an invitation to play Late Night with Craig Ferguson. His 10th studio Album, So on and So Forth included the song, “Paris Calling,” which the artist played live in the CNN studio after the terrorist attacks in the French capitol. House counts Bruce Springsteen and the Boss’s wife Patti Scialfa, among his friends.
Listed by Golf Digest as one of the “top 100 musician-golfers,” House jumped at the chance to play a round with some local golfers as a welcomed break from his busy touring schedule. Those unfortunate enough to miss his set at Fuller Lodge might bump into him on the course the following morning.
A light meal will be available for purchase when doors open at 6:30 p.m., and beer and wine will be available from Bathtub Row Brewing Co-Op. Music will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at liveinlosalamos.com, or at the Los Alamos Schools Credit Union for those wishing to avoid a service fee, and are available at the door.
