Grey Fox Spotted Foraging For Apples On Venado

This Grey Fox was spotted foraging for apples shortly before the snow storm Monday outside a home on Venado Street in Los Alamos. The Grey Fox, also known as a Tree Fox or Gray Fox, is a nocturnal mammal found throughout many areas of the United States. What makes this animal unique is that it is one of the only members of the dog family that has the ability to climb trees and is so agile in trees that when it climbs down, it can go either head or tail first.
