ALBUQUERQUE — Nuclear Care Partners is partnering with Visiting Angels, Mayberry Senior Services and Senior. One to give out free goodie bags to former Los Alamos National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories and uranium workers.
The goodie bags contain toilet paper, masks, gloves and lots of other goodies.
To maintain the health and safety of participants and staff, a drive-thru pick-up event is being held Tuesday, June 9 to distribute the free goodie bags.
Participants can drive through anytime 9-11 a.m. and pick up their goodie bags at the Calvary Church parking lot.
The Calvary Church is at 4001 Osuna Road NE in Albuquerque. Former workers can call 505.717.3491 to reserve their goodie bag in advance, or can simply drive through during the specified window of time.
If any LANL, Sandia or uranium retiree can’t make it during the specified pick-up time, local Community Outreach Manager Aaron Wadin can arrange a way for them to receive their goodie bag.
Call 505.717.3491 if you are a former worker and cannot attend the pick-up event, but would like to receive a goodie bag.
