Glisten Skin and Beauty Bar News:
Glisten Skin and Beauty Bar at 1789 Central Ave #6 recently launched a new quarterly community recognition program to celebrate individuals making a positive impact in the area.
For this quarter, Glisten recognized Beth Combs, recipient of the Los Alamos District Teacher of the Year award, and Claire Schappert, recipient of the Los Alamos District Classified Employee of the Year award, for their dedication and contributions to the Los Alamos school community.
Combs and Schappert were nominated by the community and will receive pre-selected service, such as a massage or facial.
Michelle Diaz of Glisten Skin and Beauty Bar explained that “giving back to the community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to relax, feel appreciated, and enjoy a little self-care.”
She added that throughout the year, Glisten proudly supports local causes and organizations by donating gift baskets and gift cards to silent auctions, fundraisers and community events. The local spa also hosts seasonal and holiday raffles open to the community, creating meaningful opportunities to spread kindness, joy and relaxation.
Founded by Anesia Cope, Glisten was created with the mission of helping others feel confident and cared for — inside and out. Its goal is to provide a welcoming space where every guest feels pampered, valued, and important. Through its services, community involvement, and acts of generosity, it is committed to making a positive impact and helping people feel special every day.
