Girl Scout Cookies Delivered in Los Alamos this Week

GIRL SCOUT News:

One of the most common questions that Girl Scouts get throughout the year is, β€œIs it Girl Scout Cookie time?” Well, now it really is Girl Scout Cookie time. At noon, Wednesday, Feb. 19, Girl Scout troops from Los Alamos will come to Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2390 North Road, to pick up their cookies for delivery.

In the cookie sale, girls learn about goal setting, money management, marketing, business ethics and people skills. Buying Girl Scout Cookies is about more than just handing over money for a box. It’s about the skills a girl gains from interacting directly with customers. It’s about the experience of running her own cookie business and working with others.

Important Cookie dates are:

  • Jan.13-26:  Girls took orders door-to-door;
  • Feb. 14-20:  Cookies are being delivered; and
  • Feb. 28-March 30: Booth sales in the community.

Feb. 28 through the end of March, Girl Scouts will be selling Girl Scout Cookies at cookie booths near you. Go to www.girlscoutcookies.org to use the cookie booth locator or download an app to your smartphone.
