‘Get the Brewery Open!’ Party Draws Huge Crowd

A massive crowd attended the ‘Get the Brewery Open! Campaign Party’ hosted by the Los Alamos Beer Co-op Saturday night in Central Park Square. The Beer Co-op signed a lease last week with Philip Kunsberg, owner and developer of Central Park Square to lease the space formerly occupied by the Canyon Bar & Grill at 160 Central Park Square. The Co-op plans to open its taproom in early 2015 as it will take about six months to get a license to sell beer. Renovations are already underway. There will be a fireplace inside, and next summer the Beer Co-op hopes to open an outdoor beer garden adjacent to the building. Photo by Carol A. Clark/ladailypost.com

Beer Co-op Board President Michelien Devaurs speaks to the crowd, thanking them for attending and Philip Kunsberg, owner and developer of Central Park Square for opening one of his spaces at 170 Central Park Square for Saturday night’s co-op event. The even was a a chance to celebrate and have fun and to learn more about the Los Alamos Beer Co-op. Visit the Beer Co-op online at http://www.losalamosbeer.coop/. Photo by Bonnie J.
