Get Into The Christmas Spirit With An Old Town Holiday Stroll At New Mexico Museum Of Natural History & Science Dec. 1

NMMNHS News:

The holidays are coming up quickly, and the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science (NMMNHS) is working with the City of Albuquerque to get you ready for the festive season with the Old Town Holiday Stroll on the first Friday of December.

Old Town Holiday Stroll. This annual event brings holiday festivities to Albuquerque’s historic heart, with local performers and shopping specials throughout Old Town Albuquerque. Don’t miss the annual tree-lighting ceremony 5-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 on the historic Plaza Don Luis.

NMMNHS will be a destination along the Holiday Stroll. During the event, stop by for educational activities, performances by groups like Enchanters Chorus ABQ and Tuba Christmas, and plenty of holiday cheer!

NatureWorks Discovery Store will be open to help visitors get started on their holiday shopping, and the Naturalist Center and Observatory will both be open to visitors.

Please note that the Museum’s north parking lot will likely be closed due to ongoing structural improvements. Parking is available in the lot to the east of the dinosaur statues across 18th Street.
