FBC News:

First Baptist Church of Los Alamos is proud to announce that we raised $2,968.14 on Saturday for the Orphans of Ferrier Village in Haiti!

A great big THANK YOU to all the amazing volunteers who worked so hard to make this possible! We are also grateful for the items that were donated for the sale, as well as the support of our generous community. Hundreds of people came and shopped, many of whom chose to round-up their purchases or make additional donations in order to increase their giving.

All the money we took in will be sent immediately to the Ferrier Village orphanage of Ferrier, Haiti. This facility houses 25 children who have been rescued from lives of slavery and abandonment – living alone on the streets at 4 years old without a name; living in a home as a domestic servant at 5; enduring neglect and hunger.

Keep an eye out for future fundraisers from FBCLA for this worthy cause!
