The Intertribal Ceremonial Office (ICO), Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial Association, Inc. (GITICA), and the City of Gallup announce the 100th anniversary Gallup Intertribal Ceremonial event between Aug. 4 and Aug. 14, 2022 in Gallup.
One of New Mexico’s longest running and historic events will offer a mixture of in-person and virtual events including:
- Thursday “Kick Off” night Parade, Aug. 4
- Virtual Artisan Market, Aug. 4-14
- 5K Run/Walk, Aug. 5 in Gallup
- “One World Beat” Performances, Aug. 5-6 at Red Rock Park
- Film Festival, Aug. 7-9 at El Morro Theatre
- Rodeo Events, Aug. 7-14 at Butler Jackpot Arena and Red Rock Arena
- Juried Art Show, Aug. 10-14 at the Exhibit Hall
- Juried Art Show & Opening Night Wine Gala, Aug. 10
- Ceremonial Queen and Little Miss Ceremonial Pageant, Aug. 8-10 at El Morro Theatre and Event Center
- Powwow, Aug. 12-13 at Red Rock Park
- Navajo Song & Dance, Aug. 14
- Saturday Parade, Aug. 13
Founded in 1922, this year’s event will be full of activities celebrating Native American and Indigenous heritage and culture. The Gallup Intertribal Ceremonial is excited to once again welcome travelers to Gallup for a monumental centennial celebration.
