BUSINESS News:

Brad and Rose Nyenhuis bring a lot of expertise to their business, Fusion Multisport.

They opened the story four years ago, Nov. 21, 2013. Rose said, “We were living in the Chicago area but were looking for a business opportunity that would enable us to live near mountains. We found this town…there are so many athletes and there wasn’t a sports store. Brad is a certified bicycle mechanic and I am a certified running coach so we opened up a running/bike shop.”

Fusion Multisport offers numerous services and products.

“We sell running/cycling shoes, apparel and accessories. We also sell rock climbing accessories. We offer bike repair services and we tune and wax skis and snowboards in the winter months,” Rose said.

She added they have enjoyed working with the community. Rose said, “Getting to know our customers,” is one of the best perks.

As far as accomplishments, “We feel we’ve added to the running and cycling community of Los Alamos by supporting events, donating to charitable causes, and working with the county and forest service to enhance the trail system.”

For Small Business Saturday, Nov. 25, Rose said they will offer 10 percent off all clearance sale items.
