Fun and Games at Mesa Public Library Friday

LIBRARY News:

From retro games for all ages to cutting edge art, Mesa Public Library is open for fun, games and an art reception 4:30-7 p.m. Friday, July 12.

Join Library Manager Steven Thomas in the lobby for Wheel-of-Fortune-meets-Trivial-Pursuits. Join Kate Garduno and Assistant Library Manager Bernadine Goldman in the portal for hopscotch, hula hoops, giant Frisbee games and more. You’re never too old to play with toys!

Have you ever wondered what that mysterious outside staircase behind the decorative metal gate is all about? Find out while you do slinky races down the stairs and follow up (and limber up!) with Twister in the upstairs hallway … which leads to the rotunda and art gallery reception for the new exhibit Mostly Clear and Partly Cloudy: Climate as Metaphor by Galisteo artists Shaun Gilmore and Janice Wall.

Exhausted by all this fun? Have some punch and cookies upstairs before heading across the street at 7 p.m. for the  Los Alamos Summer Concert at Ashley Pond.

Listen in to KRSN 1490 AM at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, July 11 for all the details and visit the following links:
