Friends Of The Shelter At Annual Holiday Arts And Crafts Fair Nov. 22

FOS News:

Friends of the Shelter (FOS) will be at the Arts Council Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at Los Alamos Middle School.

The Friends of the Shelter 2015 calendars will be available as well as a variety of small craft items including Pet and Petroglyph magnets and Pottery for Pets. Funds from sales enable FOS to improve the lives of shelter animals in northern New Mexico. FOS activities include promoting adoptions, providing needed medical care, and funding spaying and neutering.

Some of our shelter dogs also will be outside at the fair 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., hoping to meet their new family.

Editor’s note: The Los Alamos Arts Council has presented the annual Holiday Fair, indoors the Saturday before Thanksgiving at Los Alamos Middle School, 1 Hawk Dr. The fair features more than 100 New Mexican artists whose work is juried for quality and sales potential.
