Free LPGA/USGA Girls Golf Clinics Through Oct. 6

The Los Alamos County Golf Course is hosting free golf clinics for girls ages 7-17 every Saturday 11 a.m. to noon through Saturday, Oct 6.
 
“My heart swells to see children at the golf course, particularly girls, and boy, can they really smack it,” said Mhairi Mckay, clinic organizer and LPGA Pro. “The girls High School golf team has been helping out which is fantastic. We’ve never seen so many girls at the golf course, we love it and hope it’s just the beginning. And thank you to Michael Philips who has been a huge advocate of the junior golf program and we are lucky to have him!”
