Dr. Sig Hecker, the former Los Alamos National Laboratory Director and Co-Director of Stanford University’s Center for International Security and Cooperation, will speak onNorth Korea beyond “The Interview” and Russia beyond Crimea.
North Korea is building nuclear weapons at an ever acceleratingpace. Russia is restoring its nuclear arsenal. Whereas U.S. – North Korean relations have never been good, U.S. – Russia relations have moved from cooperation in the 1990s to confrontation. Hecker will examine what the future may hold for both cases based on hisvisits to NorthKorea and Russia and analysis of recent events.
