Food on the Hill: Party Meatballs

This week’s recipe: Party Meatballs


2 pounds beef (90% or more)
1/3 cup dried parsley flakes
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 cups Rice Krispies
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons very chopped onions
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons Worcester sauce
2 teaspoons hot sauce
2 tablespoons grape jelly
1/4 cup vinegar
1 can tomato sauce


Meatballs: Combine all ingredients and mix with hands.

Form into walnut size balls and place on baking sheet with short sides. Do not pre-brown.

Mix all the sauce ingredients together and spoon over the meatballs and bake at 350 for 40 minutes and baste during cooking.
