Food on the Hill: Boston Cooler

I grew up in southeast Michigan and we would have these during the summer. They are very easy to make, but they are very good! I believe that they need to be made with ONLY Vernor’s soda. Luckily, Smith’s carries this. It has a special taste.

Ingredients (for one drink):

12 oz of Vernor’s ginger ale

3/4 of a pint of vanilla ice cream


In a blender, miix together until smooth.

You can also make these like a root beer float if you don’t have a blender.
