COMMUNITY News:

The owners of the home at 363 Kimberly in White Rock arrived home Friday to a flock of happy flamingos in their yard. The homeowners were nominated by a neighbor to be part of an informal yard and home beautification program that Realtor Paula Barclay of RE/MAX organized.

The neighbor, who asked to remain anonymous, wrote: “These homeowners should be recognized because they tore out two stories of juniper and thorny bushes and redid a retaining wall that was crumbly and falling down!”

Barclay has a flock of pink flamingos who are moving around town, recognizing homeowner’s efforts to improve their homes and yards. If you know someone who deserves to be “flocked,” contact her at paulabarclay@remax.net or 505.231.8705.

“Nominate your friend, neighbor or yourself,” Barclay said. “Let’s have fun making our town nicer!”
