First National 1870 Creates Specialized Business Banking Team In Santa Fe

SANTA FE – First National 1870 has hired Tara Block-Archuleta and Randy Lucero to create a new Business Banking group in Santa Fe. Located at 62 Lincoln Ave., the Business Banking group is part of the local Commercial team and delivers specialized service solely focused on building relationships with small and medium-sized businesses in Los Alamos and Santa Fe.

Block-Archuleta is Vice President, Business Banker and brings more than 20 years of experience in banking in Santa Fe. She has a deep background in business banking, consumer lending and branch management, and is also a licensed real estate professional. Block-Archuleta was most recently a Business Development Officer for a community bank in Santa Fe working with businesses of all sizes to help them maximize their business potential through various channels and connections. She is an active member of the Santa Fe community and is currently a board member of the St. Michael’s High School Foundation and a director of the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce.

Lucero is Assistant Vice President, Business Banker and has more than 15 years of experience in financial services. His previous responsibilities include business and commercial banking, as well as personal banking and branch management. Most recently Lucero was a Business Relationship Manager/Commercial Lender in Santa Fe for a national bank working with clients with annual gross revenues of $5MM-$20MM. Lucero has been an advisor on the Small Business Advisory Council of the Santa Fe Business Incubator since 2014, is an active member of the local Chambers of Commerce, and coaches youth sports.
