The Boy Scouts of America is holding its annual Fire-Up for Scouting Cub Scout recruiting events at fire stations in Los Alamos and White Rock next week.
Events include:
Tuesday, April 28, 6:30-8 p.m. at Station #3 in White Rock at 129 N.M. 4; and
Thursday April 30, 6:30-8 p.m. at Station #4 in Los Alamos at 4401 Diamond Dr. across from the Golf Course.
Boys who will graduate from Kindergarten through 4th grades (5-10 years old) can be registered for the Cub Scouting program, including summer activities such as June Day Camp. Information for registering older boys in Boy Scouting will also be available.
Fire station firefighters will give the boys and family members tours of the fire trucks and station during the registration event.
Parents can sign up boys at either the Los Alamos or White Rock events. The registration fee is $24.
