Road and Utility Work:
North Mesa & North Community Pavement Preservation Project
- Location (follow link to see map): 39th, 37th, 36th, North Mesa Road, San Ildefonso Road, Stoneview Drive
- Date: Through Oct. 24
- Time: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (weather permitting)
- Impact: Vehicles will not be allowed to park on the roadway during working hours. Flaggers may direct traffic during certain construction events.

Pavement markings removal and installation, and curb striping
- Location: Central Ave.: 9th St. LACU and 20th St. to Oppenheimer

Jemez Mountain Fire Protection Project water pipeline installation as of Oct. 17, 2025
- Location: West Road and Camp May Road, Los Alamos
- Date: Through December 2025
- Time: Monday-Friday
- Impact: Camp May Road closed Monday- Friday, as are accessible trail heads. Entrance and exit to Camp May is closed and locked from Sunday afternoon until Friday at 5 p.m.

LANL: Rockfall remediation on East Jemez Road
- Location: East Jemez Road, by the slopes from mile marker 7 to 7.5
- Date: Through December 2025
- Time: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week
- Impact:
o The right-hand truck lane traveling west will be CLOSED for the duration of the project.
o E. Jemez Road (Truck Route) will have a FULL ROAD CLOSURE on the following weekends: Oct. 25-26, Nov. 1-2, and 8-9 from Saturday at 6 a.m. through Sunday at 4 p.m.

Special Events:
HALLOWEEKEND: Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet
- Location: Downtown Los Alamos
- Date: Oct. 24
- Time:10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Impact:
10 a.m.: Central Ave. will be closed from 15th St. to 20th St.
3:30 p.m.: Central Ave. will be closed from Knecht St. to 20th St.; Main Street will be closed from Central Ave. to the roundabout; and 15th St. will be closed from Iris Street to Deacon St. Detours will be in place.

HALLOWEEKEND: Pumpkin Glow
- Location: Downtown Los Alamos near the Fuller Lodge
- Date: Saturday Oct. 25
- Time: Dusk until 9 p.m.
- Impact: Significant increase in pedestrian, bicycle and motor vehicle traffic in the area of Fuller Lodge. Motorists should slow down and watch for pedestrians – including children and pets – especially after dark.

Loma Linda Trick or Treat:
- Location: Loma Linda Subdivision entrance closure
- Date: Oct. 31
- Time: 5-9 p.m.
- Impact: Entrance to Loma Linda will be closed to allow trick-or-treaters to walk safely.
