The 5th Annual Hilltopper Run is set to take place on Sunday, Aug. 16, outside of Smith’s Marketplace in Los Alamos.
The first race, a 5-mile run, will start at 6:45 a.m. The 5K race will start at 8:30 a.m. and the kids’ 1-mile race will start at 9:45 a.m. This race will be for children age 12 and younger. The courses will be on the Canyon Rim Trail.
Participants can register and pick up their packets 3-7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at the patio outside of Smith’s Marketplace.
The race fees for the 5-mile and 5K run are:
- $30 early (before Sunday, Aug. 9)
- $35 late (Aug. 11 – Aug. 14)
- $40 packet pick up (Aug. 15)
- $50 Race Day (Aug. 16).
Participants can also register here.
All finishers will receive a ribbon. The 5-mile overall male and female winners will receive $250. While the 5-mile, 5K and kids’ 1-mile first, second and third place finishers in each age division will receive a medal.
The Hilltopper Run is produced by TCR Productions, this race is designed to provide every participant with a professionally organized race. The 5-mile, 5K, and 1-mile courses are USA Track & Field certified, ensuring accurate measurements, a feature that sets TCR apart from other companies. Additionally, each participant will be individually timed using the state-of-the-art Chronotrack system, a global leader in race timing technology.
