The last pre-event Relay for Life Volunteer Meeting is 6 p.m. today Large Conference Room (LCR) at Los Alamos Medical Center.
The LCR is located downstairs near the cafeteria and there will be signs providing direction to the meeting. The easiest and most convenient parking is in the back on the canyon-side of LAMC. Pizza and soft drinks will be hosted by LAMC.

Gov. Susana Martinez
ALBUQUERQUE — Today, Gov. Susana Martinez will recognize the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center’s recent designation as a comprehensive cancer center by the National Cancer Institute.
The designation is the highest federal designation a cancer center can receive and will allow it to apply for additional funds to go toward cancer research.
