FBI Still Investigating Tara Calico Case

The FBI and Valencia County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind the public on the 30th anniversary of Tara Calico’s disappearance that this is still an active missing-person investigation.
The FBI has released an age-progressed photo of how Calico could look today in the hopes anyone who might have seen her recently will come forward.
Calico disappeared Sept. 20, 1988, as she rode a bicycle near her home in Belen. She was last seen riding along Highway 47 in Valencia County at approximately 11:45 a.m. on that day.
Anyone with information about Calico’s whereabouts or what happened to her is asked to call the FBI at 505.889.1300, or Valencia County Sheriff’s Office at 505.866.2400, after hours at 505.865.2039.
