FBI Seeks Public’s Help IDing Albuquerque Bank Robbers

FBI News:

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify two individuals responsible for a bank robbery today, Feb. 28.

At approximately 9:29 a.m., two unknown males entered US Bank at 3620 Juan Tabo Blvd. NE. One male displayed a handgun and the other jumped over the teller counter. The robbers took an undisclosed sum of money and left the bank.

Descriptions:

Suspect #1 (armed)

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White
  • Age: Mid-20s
  • Height: Approximately 5’8″
  • Clothing: Dark beanie, red scarf covering face, green jacket with horizontal stripe, dark gloves, blue jeans.

Suspect #2

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White or Hispanic
  • Age: Mid-20s
  • Height: Approximately 5’7″
  • Clothing: Dark beanie, gray scarf covering face, navy blue hooded jacket, dark gloves, blue jeans, hiking boots,

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.

Note: Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
