FBI, Santa Fe Police Seek Public’s Assistance To Identify Skinny Swoosh Bandit Who Robbed Bank Tuesday

FBI News:

The FBI and Santa Fe Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the Skinny Swoosh Bandit responsible for a bank robbery Tuesday, Oct. 18 in Santa Fe.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., the unknown male walked into First National Bank at 540 W. Cordova Road. The suspect verbally demanded money from a teller. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and left the bank.

Suspect’s Description:

  • Sex: Male;
  • Race: Hispanic;
  • Height: Approximately 5’2″;
  • Weight: Skinny;
  • Hair: Short black hair, with a mustache and short beard; and
  • Clothing: Black long-sleeve shirt with a Nike Swoosh symbol on the left chest; dark pants; and tennis shoes.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Note: Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
