FBI News:

The FBI is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a man who Thursday robbed a northeast Albuquerque bank.

At approximately 1 p.m., the suspect robbed the Bank of the West at 4221 San Mateo Blvd. NE. He is described as a slim, possibly Hispanic male in his 20s or 30s, approximately 5’5” tall, with a dark complexion and short hair.

He wore a red T-shirt, a light-colored baseball hat possibly with a Pittsburgh Penguins logo on it, light-colored pants and black shoes.

The suspect presented a demand note to a teller, who gave him an undisclosed amount of money, then left the bank and headed north, walking across Montgomery Blvd. NE.

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are investigating.
